BioNano Genomics reached out to us at SurfaceID to develop a cutting-edge tool for performing rapid and precise biological molecule analysis. The BioNano system operates with a disposable nanochannel array “chip” which increases user-friendliness and simplifies general laboratory workflow.

Development

The system allows for ultra-fast and efficient processing, labeling, detection, and analysis of long DNA segments and other biomolecules.
BioNano Genomics System, is currently being used in the most prominent research institutions worldwide, and was selected as a finalist in the in vitro diagnostics category for the 2013 Medical Design Excellence Awards.
